And with the right moving equipment, you won’t have to give anything up. Our trucks have heat-controlled transport space, which is essential when moving flowers and plants, for example. You don’t have to give up the contents of your freezer either, as we can transport your frozen goods without having to unpacking it, keeping it plugged in.

Do you have heavy and challenging items, such as a piano, grand piano, valuable antique cabinet or even a lot. It’s ALWAYS a good idea to book a removal company to move your challenging items, so that both your belongings and your people remain intact during the move. For us, moving large and heavy objects is an everyday occurrence and we have the right tools to protect and move them.

We plan the moves in advance, taking into account such things as stairs, corridors, floors and the load-bearing capacity of lifts, for example. If necessary, we can also move through a window and, if you wish, we can also bolt in a safe, for example.

Moving boxes: proper moving boxes help you move small items quickly and safely. It is a good idea to pack small and breakable items in moving boxes to keep them intact during the move. Protection. For example, use bubble wrap or tissue paper to protect dishes and decorative items.
Furniture protectors: the textile surfaces of sofas and beds should be protected with a sofa and mattress bag for the duration of the move. This will save you extra washing costs after the move. Furniture is also sensitive to knocks, so to protect it we use clean upholstery when loading it into the car.
Floor protection. It’s a small investment, but it can save you from expensive parquet replacement! If you wish, our professional removal men will take care of protecting your floors and premises during your move.

We can provide you with all the necessary packing and protection equipment for your move. You can also pick them up from our Jyväskylä office or arrange delivery with our moving coordinators.

When moving, it’s easy to go through things and recycle old unnecessary things. If you wish, we will take the extra goods for recycling in connection with the move in an agile and cost-effective manner.

Do you need temporary storage? For example, are you moving abroad temporarily or are your belongings on the road during your renovation? We have warm and dry storage space for consumers and businesses.

Storage is in plywood containers of around 7m3, stored in a warm locked warehouse. The storage period can vary from one day to several years depending on your needs. We only charge for the storage days used according to the quantity of goods used.

We can also transport your goods to and from the warehouse.

Our professional staff will pack your storage container carefully and sensibly, taking care of the protection of your goods. For long-term storage, we recommend using sturdy cardboard boxes instead of rental boxes to pack your goods.

Final cleaning can feel laborious and heavy after moving day. If you’d rather focus on preparing your new home, for example, than on cleaning your old one, you can order a final clean through us. Through our partners, we carry out final cleaning and cleaning of your new property.

The careful protection and packing of goods is often the most laborious and time-consuming part of the move. However, properly packing your belongings saves them from damage and speeds up the moving process considerably. If you wish, we can pack and unpack your move. With our professional skills, we can pack your belongings quickly but carefully.

If necessary, we can also help you unpack, for example by emptying boxes, putting together new cupboards and fixing paintings. We can help you with everything from turnkey removals to moving in and out.

The moving lift makes the move fast and cost-effective for large home and business relocations. It also works well on construction sites. If an apartment/property does not have a lift or is small and has insufficient load-bearing capacity to move, the move can be complicated. Narrow staircases can also add an extra challenge to the move.

A moving lift can solve the problem and avoid the need to spend time carrying it. A moving lift allows you to move your belongings through a window or balcony directly into and out of the moving van. Our moving lift can lift up to the seventh floor and our lift can move objects weighing up to 400 kg.

Our moving lift is located in Jyväskylä in central Finland, and we also transport the lift to neighbouring areas.

Our staff are experienced and professional, but sometimes accidents happen. If we cause damage to your property when you move in, our liability insurance will cover the damage to your property.

We also have road haulage insurance under the Road Haulage Act. This insurance covers 20€ per kg for damage caused by Jylhä’s staff to the customer’s movable property during the move.

If you wish, you can take out additional insurance for the duration of the move. This one-off transport insurance may cover all the furniture or a single item of particular value. It is a good idea to take this into account before you move if your belongings include valuable works of art, musical instruments or furniture, for example.

However, the contents should always be packed properly and breakable objects should be carefully protected during the move.
